New York Psychoanalytic Society & Institute, in conjunction with its divisions, The Arnold Pfeffer Center for Neuropsychoanalysis and The Helix Center, presents a series of events focused on Psychoanalysis and Neuroscience during the month of October.

Dear Collegues,
It’s Memorial Weekend in the USA- the coldest and rainiest that I recall in many years, but just right to spend time indoors reading the international psychoanalytic website posts. Some match the gloomy weather and the rather alarming natural and man made disasters around us, some are much more hopeful and inspiring but all very interesting and inviting your comments.
My choices this week include:
1) the post by Robert Frashure; Should Artists Fear Psychoanalysis is of particular interest to those of us who treat/have treated creative individuals who are afraid that their ability to create (write, paint, perform etc.) will be “analyzed away”.
