EDITH KURZWEIL 1924 – 2016

EdithKurzweil

Dear, dear friends and family of Edith Kurzweil,

It is with the greatest of sadness that we write with sorrowful news. Our mother passed away peacefully today, Saturday February 6, 2016, four days after a stroke. To the very end, she was in great shape and high spirits, and, as ever, intellectually nimble. (She had workout sessions and opera plans scheduled for the following week.)

Please join us if you can for the funeral service. The brief ceremony will be held this Tuesday, February 9, at 11:15am, at Riverside Memorial Chapel, 180 West 76th Street (on Amsterdam Ave. at the corner of 76th Street).  Continue reading EDITH KURZWEIL 1924 – 2016
