Presentation of the Awards and a reception for psychoanalytic guests from around the world will be held at 7 PM on January 14, 2011 at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, New York City.
The Sigourney Award recognizes significant contributions to clinical psychoanalysis or psychoanalytical research throughout the world. Awards are made on a three-year geographic cycle, and the 2010 Award focuses on Western Europe.
