Note from Kerry Kelly Novick about Parenting letters

Dear colleagues,

The three letters published in today’s NY Times speak to the enormous real-life utility of the psychoanalytic approach to development and relationships. For families who don’t have access to the wonderful Reflective Parenting groups in LA or a thoughtful pediatrician like Claudia, we are finding that parents of child patients and adult patients who are parents or grandparents are finding practical help for their reactions to their children in our latest book “EMOTIONAL MUSCLE: STRONG PARENTS, STRONG CHILDREN.” There we give explicit suggestions for how to work on pausing to think, understanding where one’s child is coming from and more.
Nice work, Paul, Regina and Claudia!
