HOMOPHOBIA TODAY: ANTI-GAY BIAS AND ITS IMPLICATIONS IN THE CONTEMPORARY TREATMENT OF GAY MEN AND LESBIANS
This four-session workshop is designed for clinicians who work with or intend to work with gay men and lesbians. Through focused readings and discussion of clinical vignettes, participants will explore the impact on work with our gay and lesbian clients of what is commonly referred to as “homophobia,” both in its original clinical meaning and in contemporary popular use.
