In 2009 at the IPA meetings in Berlin, there was a panel called the Closed Mind. Jorge Garcia Badaracco from Argentina, now deceased, wrote a very forward thinking paper that I think is relevant today. It has never been published and I am pleased to post it here in the hope that all psychoanalysts read it seriously. For me, it holds answers to many of the dilemmas our profession faces in today’s world.
