The volume consists of 13 chapters addressing the question of mutative action within psychoanalysis’ rich history, the issue of how analysis works, and how today’s theories of therapeutic action diverge and converge.  Other authors in the volume include Leo Rangell, Morris Eagle, Michael J.Diamond, Steven Portuges and Nancy Hollander.
