Click Here to Read:    Chapter 5, entitled “From Ego Psychology to Modern Conflict Theory” from the forthcoming book “The Second Century of Psychoanalysis: Evolving Perspectives on Therapeutic Action” co-edited by Michael J. Diamond and Chris Christian, to be published this June by Karnac. The volume consists of 13 chapters addressing the question of mutative action within psychoanalysis’ rich history, the issue of how analysis works, and how today’s theories of therapeutic action diverge and converge.  Other authors in the volume include Leo Rangell, Morris Eagle, Michael J.Diamond, Steven Portuges and Nancy Hollander.
