Dear Colleagues:
At the beginning of this month, the mood is rather sombre, drawing us back to WWII with Veterans Day, the fall of the Berlin Wall in November 1989 and the results of elections this week, for which the turnout heralds that of 1947. These events are reflected in some of the posts on our website this week. As usual I will not list previous Announcements, will tell you my current choices followed by the entire list of contents.
My choices this week are:
