Myths about Women, warning in colleges, historical perspectives from Sasha Rolde on IP.net

Dear Colleagues,

It is the Memorial Day Weekend, and if you ignore all the sales hype, you may remember what we are to remember. Our international psychoanalytic website functions as a reminder of all the things to remember not just this weekend, but throughout the year, that we wish the rest of the world would pay attention to as well. I have chosen a few of the posts but please browse thru the site carefully to remind you of the past, the present and the future events, both exciting and sadly unforgettable as the may be.
Please recall that I try to avoid repeated postings from previous weeks but they may be on the website in case you missed them.
My choices this week are:

1) Please try to go to the Karen Horney clinic in October to the COWAP Conference : Myths of the Mighty Woman: What Makes a Woman? It should be a great presentation.

Browsing thru the international psychoanalytic website I have not found a plausible explanation for this atrocity, and can only say that at least we are trying to understand man and human nature from a different vantage point which perhaps some day will lead to an end of human brutality. I list below the posts which caught my own interest and urge you to look at the entire menu, read the posts that appeal and please comment.

My choices:

1) The Inaugural Lecture, “Freud, Moses and the Holocaust*** in Philadelphia. with speaker Eli Zaretsky, (Audio/Video)
