9/11 Benefit Program for Mental Health Services for NYC Residents

For those of us treating people who were affected by the events of 9/11:
I have just learned that anyone who lives in NYC can call the number below for a brief screening interview to see if they meet the criteria to be approved for $3000 for psychotherapy sessions and medications. If approved, they fill out a form and give one to their therapists to fill out. People who lived in the immediate area of the Towers on 9/11, or who worked/volunteered there, may be approved for unlimited psychotherapy funds.

On February 28, 2010, Dr. Andrew P. Morrison of Cambridge, Massachusetts, died after a battle with lymphoma. His wife, Holly Levenkron, has asked me to post a remembrance of Dr. Morrison to the membership of the American Psychoanalytic Association, of which he was a beloved and revered member.
