Alma Halbert Bond is a psychoanalyst and much published author who worked as a participant observer at Masters Children’s Center. The material in this article is taken from her book, “Margaret Mahler: A Biography of the Psychoanalyst,” which was recently published by McFarland Publishers, and awarded Best Books Award Finalist 2008 in the Biography category by USA Book News..
