What is the relation of psychosis to the social link? In what way is postmodern social organization altering the traditional understanding of the relation of the subject to the group and the Oedipal structure? This workshop will examine contemporary questions on psychosis and explore their effects on psychoanalytic work with psychotics.

Suggested Readings: Freud: Psychoanalytic Notes Upon an Autobiographical Account of a Case of Paranoia (Dementia Paranoides) (1911). Daniel Paul Schreber: Notes of My Nervous Illness.
