Jason Gold, Ph.D. will present on Psychological Tests: When do we do them &
what can we really learn?Free and open to the public
In this talk, Dr. Gold will discuss when to seek a psychoeducational evaluation for your child, what the process is like, and what you can expect to learn from an evaluation.

Jason Gold is a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst who specializes in working with children and adolescents and their families. Dr. Gold has offices on the upper west side of Manhattan and in Armonk, NY. Dr. Gold provides consultation, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, and comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, as well as clinical supervision. While he has a focus on adolescents in his practice, he works with younger children and adults as well.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Gold is the Consulting Psychologist for the middle and upper schools at Riverdale Country School. He provides students, parents, and faculty consultation around emotional and behavioral well being, as well as crisis intervention. Dr. Gold also serves as a consultant to the Learning Research Team with an emphasis on supporting students with learning differences.
He maintains an affiliation with The New York Psychoanalytic Institute where he trained in psychoanalysis. Dr. Gold is a member of several professional organizations including the American Psychological Association and the American Psychoanalytic Association.
“Dialogues on…” events are geared towards professionals and parents who are involved with the care of children in the school and home environments. Educators, school administrators, community leaders, grandparents and parents are welcome.
