Joyce Edward, LCSW has served as a faculty and training analyst at the New York School for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. She has been on the faculties of Adelphi University School of Social Work, Hunter College School of Social Work and Smith College School of Social Work. She has recently been appointed to serve as a mentor for the Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Teacher’s Academy developed by the American Association for Psychoanalysis in Clinical Social Work, the American Psychoanalysis Association and the American Psychological Association. She has co-authored several books including “Separation-Individuation: Theory and Application,” co-authored with Nathene Ruskin and Patsy Turrini. Her latest book is: “The Sibling Relationship: A Force for Growth and Conflict.”
