About the conference
The rise in anti-semitism first started in Eastern Europe. It was convenient to utilize it as a scapegoat for many people. In our era, Hitler has been replaced by the Muslim jihad. While we understand that many Muslims have assimilated into various European cultures, their hate message and use of acts of terrorism may be seen in political terms as a means of propaganda, intimidation, and conquest. In psychoanalytic terms, terrorism can be seen as an expression of an extreme form of aggression, sadism, feeling of alienation, subjugation, and disenfranchisement.
