We will continue the presentation and discussion of the referential process and its measures and applications that we started in our November meeting. After a quick review of that presentation, we will describe the current state of the DAAP-WRAD systems, using both word count and time as the independent variables. The presentation will include a discussion of what makes the WRAD work: including which very frequent words are indicators of high RA and why. We also plan to present our plans for future enhancements of these systems (some almost completed, others more distant); a discussion of some current applications, and plans for future applications. We will also include some discussion of the new Italian measures and the implications for cross cultural application of the RA concept.

Wilma Bucci, Ph.D. is Professor Emerita, Derner Institute, Adelphi University; Co-Director of Research, Pacella Center, NYPSI; Visiting Professor in Psychoanalytic Research, University College, London; Faculty of International Psychoanalytical Association Research Training Programme; Visiting Professor, University of Bergamo, Italy; Honorary Member of APsaA, NYPSI and IPTAR.

Bernard Maskit, Ph.D. is Professor Emeritus, Mathematics Department, Stony Brook University and Chair, NYPSI IRB. He has published over 70 research articles in the areas of complex analysis and low dimensional topology and geometry, and maintains his interest in these fields along with his current research in psychology, including measure development and computer programming.
