The recent efforts made in several Western countries to regulate and define psychoanalytic practice from a legal standpoint call for a radical examination of the specificity, and incommensurability, of the analytic and the juridical act. The 2013 issue of the EJP addresses these questions. Two contributors to this EJΨ issue will present the publication and discuss its contents.
