Participants will receive Certificates documenting 12 hours of CEC’s from
the ADTA (American Dance Therapy Association), an approved provider
for the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC Provider #5739).
In this two-day intensive training, a leading-edge faculty of renowned
practitioners representing all of the creative arts therapy modalities
will introduce innovative approaches to trauma treatment. Through
theoretical discussion, experiential demonstration, and in-depth
consultation groups, participants will acquire practical tools to
enhance their clinical work. Emphasis will be placed on how the
therapist’s mindful attunement to his or her self-system, in
conjunction with the concept of ‘vicarious healing,’ can be used most
effectively within the work.
This intensive training is ideal for Masters-level and Doctoral-level
clinicians working with traumatized clients who wish to deepen their
knowledge of using the arts in trauma treatment.
