This is to bring you up to date on matters pertaining to the monthly Case Conference series sponsored by IPTAR’s Center for Socio-analytic Studies.
1. The monthly series will begin on October 23rd with a presentation by Jerry Fromm, Ph.D., from Austen Riggs, on issues of organizational transition centering on founders of not-for-profits.
Jerry is the former Director of Austen Riggs’ Erikson Institute for Education and Research; President of the International Society for the Psychoanalytic Study of Organizations (ISPSO); and editor of Lost in Transmission: Studies of Trauma Across Generations.
2. The next residential “Tavistock” Conference is coming up in January of 2014. Several active Case Conference participants attended last year and found it enormously useful in developing a deeper, more grounded understanding of socio-analytic thinking. I encourage you to consider attending.
