Meet the Authors: An Interview with Jamieson Webster, Ph.D.

Dr. Webster is author of the book, “Life and Death of Psychoanalysis”
published by Karnac Books.
Dr. Webster is a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst in private practice in New York where she works with children, adolescents, and adults. She teaches at Eugene Lang College, as well as, supervising graduate students through City University’s doctoral program in clinical psychology. She is a founding member of Das Unbehagen, an organization that explores psychoanalysis outside of an institutional or organizational framework. She has written many articles on clinical and theoretical psychoanalysis with an interdisciplinary focus on feminine sexuality, philosophy, and aesthetics. In addition to The Life and Death of Psychoanalysis she has also co-authored (with Simon Critchley) Stay, Illusion! published by Random House in 2013)
