For those going to Prague, a special invitation to attend a play/musical about the concentration camp Terezin (outside of Prague) and about the art and music that those imprisoned created and used to keep their spirits alive even as the trains daily carried adults and children to their deaths in Auschwitz.

ABOUT THE SHOW
Signs of Life is a new musical (book by Peter Ullian, lyrics by Len Schiff and music by Joel Derfner). Based on the true story of the Czech ghetto, Terezin, Signs of Life tells one of the most fascinating and least known stories of the Holocaust. Originally a military town, Hitler transformed it into a so-called “model city for the Jews” to house prominent European artists and musicians. In an attempt to deceive the International Red Cross and sway public opinion, the Nazis forced the inhabitants to “beautify” the ghetto. Signs of Life portrays their struggles as they grapple with the question, “When survival depends on hiding the truth, how does the truth survive?” They created art and music
