What: “Dialogues on…Sibling Rivalry” with Phil Herschenfeld, M.D.
New York Psychoanalytic Society & Institute’s Child and Adolescent Psychoanalysis division continues the “Dialogues on…” series of discussions with leading child development experts.

Who:
Phil Herschenfeld is a graduate of Einstein Medical School, and has been teaching Psychiatry and Psychoanalysis for many years. He is affiliated with Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. He is a Training and Supervising Analyst at NYPSI where he is an esteemed teacher for both adult and child psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. His has an active private practice in Manhattan from which he has gained significant experience in the issues of Sibling Rivalry and their impact on individuals and families.
With the “Dialogues on…” series of discussions and Q&A, the NYC community has access to child development experts on relevant and pressing topics. The events are free and open to the public and are an integral part of NYPSI’s commitment to community outreach.

“Dialogues on…” events are geared towards professionals and parents who are involved with the care of children in the school and home environments. Educators, school administrators, community leaders, grandparents and parents are welcome to attend.

The “Dialogues on…” series is made possible by a generous donation to NYSPI from The Poses Family Foundation. Additional funding was received from The James and Judith K. Dimon Foundation in honor of Ms. Themis Dimon.
