Fred Sander, M.D. is a pioneer in the application of analytic theory to couple and family therapy. His first book, “Individual and Family Therapy: Toward an Integration,” was published in 1979 by Jason Aronson, and his recent book, “Created in Our Own Image.com,” published in January, is about the Pygmalion myth. Dr. Sander is an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, Weill-Cornell Medical School, and on the faculty of NYPSI.
