 Maternal Functioning and its Consequences on Early Psychic Life
 Christine Anzieu-Premmereur, M.D., Ph.D.

Overview of some psychoanalytic theories on the role of unconscious maternal functioning on the development of psychic life in the baby: Sigmund Freud, Donald Winnicott, Wilfred Bion and some French psychoanalysts from the Psychosomatic School of Paris.

Dr. Anzieu is an Honorary Member of the New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute and Co-Director of NYPSI’s Pacella Parent-Child Center.
