Please join us for our ongoing discussion group, “Core Sexual and Feminine Conflicts in Female Analysands: Recovering an Old Focus.” This group will focus on both theoretical and clinical issues concerning female sexuality as they appear in analytic work. We will particularly examine the theoretical departure since Freud’s time from the study of female psychosexual conflicts. We will then explore themes of sexual conflicts and confusions in adult female analysands who often present with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, etc,. through a clinical presentation by Dr. Biran. Participants are urged to present their own clinical material.
