The Western New England Psychoanalytic Society is pleased to announce its annual Spring Symposium on April 9th, 8:30 – 1PM at Yale Child Study Center. Juliet Mitchell, Professor of Psychoanalysis and Gender Studies, University College London will consider sibling dynamics in psychic development. Dr. Jill Miller, PhD, Denver Psychoanalytic Institute, Training and Supervising Child/Adolescent and Adult psychoanalyst will anchor the discussion with rich clinical material from across the lifespan. Dr. Karen Gilmore, MD, Columbia Psychoanalytic Institute, Training and Supervising Child/Adolescent and Adult psychoanalyst, will provide a discussion weaving together the theoretical and clinical aspects of both papers. There will be ample time for audience participation.
