CALL FOR PAPERS – MEXICO CONGRESS – DEADLINE EXTENDED
Dear Colleague,
The Call for Proposals (including Papers) for the Mexico City Congress in August 2011 is still open. The title is “Exploring Core Concepts: Sexuality, Dreams and the Unconscious”.
Selected panels in the morning will be devoted to the subjects included in the title, following which there will be small group discussions for all participants. Afternoon sessions will feature papers that centre around themes involved in disruptions in psychoanalytic situations. These disruptions may include enactments, transference-countertransference states or activities, or external disruptions that interfere with the treatment etc. External disruptions may be characterised as narrowly as the psychoanalytic institute or as broadly as the state or the country where the psychoanalyst resides. The topic is thus wide enough to include issues deriving from the clinical situation as well as other social issues that impact on it.
To read more about the Congress, what kinds of proposals we are looking for, and deadlines for our response to proposals please click here where you are also able to submit your proposals online. Only proposals submitted online will be considered.
The deadline for submissions has now been extended to 29 September 2010.
Proposals are welcome from Members and non-Members of the IPA, as well as Candidates.
We look forward to meeting you in Mexico City next year!
Kind regards
