Announcing the conference:

Mediterranean Id-entities. Psychoanalysis and places of negation, orgazined Giuseppe Leo.Lecce (Italy) on 30th October 2010. The congress main topic is negation, and it is divided into four sections. The first one regards negation in its dimension centered both on analyst-patient relationship (analytic relationship dimension) and on groups and institutions (groupal dimension). The second one regards a historical and political field, resulting in negating genocide (negationism). The third one is dedicated to the topic of negation in its relation with the negativeness. Finally, the last section concerns negation in its relation with ambiguity in the context of therapeutic relationship with the victims of torture and collective traumas, as well as in the context of therapeutic transcultural groups.
