Martha Bragin. PhD LCSW is an Associate Professor at Hunter College School of Social Work and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. She is a member of the IPA working group on the psychic effects of social exclusion, a fellow of the IPA research training program and a candidate at IPTAR.
For the past 25 years, Dr Bragin has served as consultant to governments, international and non-governmental organizations on the design and evaluation of programs that help communities to help families to help children and adolescents affected by violence to continue to grow up properly using applied psychoanalytic concepts as they are understood around the world.
Particularly interested in those who participate in armed conflict and community violence, she is the author of numerous publications designed to help practitioners who work with these youngsters to help them to transform their lives and their communities.
